Just one of those Days

Have you ever had one of "those" days? Today was mine. I just needed to take a vacation, you know what I mean. Nothing terrible going one, just wanted a "mommy time-out".

Thankfully, Uncle D and Aunt S came to the rescue! YAY! The 2 bigger kids are out with them for the day and will spend the night, Me and the baby are at home enjoying quiet time and Daddy is singing out at Epcot. (Yep, HE'S the one singing this year!)

Ahhh....just what I needed.

But really, how can I complain? Check out these pictures of my adorable munchkins. They sincerely melt my heart!

Man, they are going to look like twins when they get bigger!

Just playing a little firetruck.
I'm sure you understand. A little break is healthy for everyone, Mom's included. Today was just that kind of day.

On a side note, I heard a question on the radio asking what will you do in 2012? One of the peoples' answers stuck with me. It's very poignant for my time and place right now and I plan to use it for my motto for the year.

Merry Christmas

Hey Hey Hey! Where'd everybody go?? Just kidding! We're still here! Just took a little hiatus for a month or two, BUT....I'm Back!

And I have to say:

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you!

We celebrated Christmas with family. My brother David was here, along with Grandpa. They spent the night on Christmas Eve. Then in the morning Aunt Steph and Uncle Danny came up early to see the kids open their presents. Later in the afternoon we had a semi-surprise visit from my Mom and Dad, aka Nana and Papa.

We loved celebrating Christmas with our family and the kids got everything on their wish lists and more! They are so thrilled!

As am I!! I had a new camera on my wish list and Santa (Mike's Dad) delivered! THANK YOU!! Oh so much!

I'm including some recent pics I took with the new camera. There are a few of us on Christmas day and riding bikes in the front yard. Plus a few from the park we visited earlier today.

Oh Reagan, why the sad face?

Merry Christmas!

It's Fall! Time for the Corn Maze!

The sweetest babies ever, I tell you! Here are my precious kids, having a great time at the Corn Maze. The corn maze is one of my favorite things to do once the weather starts to cool down. It's lots of fun and the kids have a great time!
As we entered the location they had some cute decorations to photograph with. I'm always up for a "How Tall this Fall" sign!

Ethan, Mike and Ava took the giant slide into the area. Reagan and I decided to walk underneath.

One of the newer things they added this year was a GIANT bounce pillow. Of course Ava didn't wear socks, so she and Ethan traded and took turns. We could hardly get him off. Both kids loved it!

They had this giant tractor made out of hay there. A great photo opp!

 CORN!
We decided to do the kiddie sized corn maze which took about 30-45 minutes to get through. They have different stations with colors. Each time you find one, you color a finger and once all 5 fingers are colored AND you find your way back out, you can read a horoscope that goes along with your pattern.

My cute family! When I first saw this picture I though, Whoa! That's a lot of people! Ha Ha!

Pumpkin Patchin'

This is my favorite time of year! I love visiting the pumpkin patches, the fall festivals, the corn maze and decorating for the seasons. Once the weather changes it'll even be better! I can't wait to do some fall cooking and baking!

Today we visited the best pumpkin patch Orlando has to offer. It is super cute and lots of fun for the kids. They each picked out pumpkins and also our family pumpkins, Mr. and Mrs. Nice names, huh? They chose those, too.

Ethan and Ava watched as they did a story time and song.

The nice workers talked me into getting in a picture with the kids. I love their expressions!

How many times did I say, "Look here. Look at Mommy!"? Hmm...didn't seem to work.

Reagan got herself a pumpkin too! She really enjoyed her first pumpkin patch experience!

Ok, I promise I told them to switch places.
